The main entrance to Ridley Creek State Park is on Sandy Flash Drive South at Gradyville Road, in Delaware County about 16 miles from Center City Philadelphia. For GPS, use 39.95065, -75.45175, or search "Ridley Creek State Park Entrance." The park office is at Hunting Hill Mansion, 1023 Sycamore Mills Road, Media, PA 19063. Parking is at the picnic areas and the mansion lot, and Pennsylvania state parks charge no entrance or day-use fees.
Getting There at a Glance
Driving In
Use the coordinates or the "Ridley Creek State Park Entrance" map listing rather than a street number: DCNR's own pages give two different numbers on Gradyville Road for the entrance. Sandy Flash Drive runs through the park as Sandy Flash Drive North and South. DCNR's park map shows West Chester Pike, Providence Road, Gradyville Road and Barren Road around the park.

Which Lot to Use
- Mansion lot: the park office, gardens, Mansion Gardens Trail, Yellow Trail start, sledding hill and a two-plug EV charging station (Hunting Hill Mansion).
- Lots 7, 11, 15 and 17: DCNR's access points for the paved multi-use trail and bikes (Multi-use trail). Lots 12 and 14 also connect.
- Picnic Area 8: horse-trailer parking and the Bridle Trail; the sensory playground. From South Sandy Flash Drive, Area 8 is on the left (Horseback riding).
- Picnic Area 9: start of the Blue Trail. Area 16: start of the Yellow Trail. Area 4: Fishermans Trail (Hiking).
- Barren Road gate: access to the ADA fishing platform and accessible picnic tables; get a vehicle permit at the park office first (Fishing).
- Hunter parking: seasonal lots for hunters in deer season (Hunting).
Busy Days
Arrive early on warm weekends, especially if you want a first-come pavilion. When a lot is full, try another picnic-area lot rather than parking on grass or roadsides.
No Public Transit to the Trails
DCNR's pages do not list a bus or train stop at the park. Plan to drive, bike or get dropped off.
