What the Mansion Includes

DCNR lists the spaces wedding guests can use:

DCNR's printed guide also mentions the south patio and an outdoor garden site as part of the package. Confirm the current package with Parque, since the planner sets the details.

Booking and Pricing

DCNR does not publish mansion prices. Availability, packages and costs come from Parque at Ridley Creek State Park at 484-580-8260. DCNR says mansion events are handled by Parque.

The Setting

The mansion is a large English country manor built around a 1789 Pennsylvania farmhouse (History of the mansion). DCNR calls the formal gardens around it a popular attraction and wedding site, and the gray stone of the house is echoed across the park's buildings. The rare Franklin tree, which blooms white in early autumn, stands by the mansion.

Friday Weddings

On Fridays the park office in the mansion stays open to the public from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., so expect park visitors around the building during the day.

Weddings in Other Parts of the Park

For weddings and events in other areas of the park, DCNR says to contact the park office. Picnic pavilions can be reserved up to 11 months ahead through Pennsylvania State Parks reservations, but DCNR asks groups planning an organized event to call the office before reserving a pavilion (Picnic Areas). Moon bounces are not permitted anywhere in the park, and drones are restricted at all but six designated state park flying fields.

Photos in the Gardens

The gardens are open to all visitors sunrise to sunset. Respect any event in progress at the mansion and keep paths clear.
