Park & Trail Map
The official Ridley Creek State Park map is a free PDF from Pennsylvania DCNR, linked from the park's "Maps and Guides" page. It shows every trail with its color and length, the numbered picnic areas and parking lots, restrooms, pavilions, playgrounds, the fishing platform, the hunting areas and the fly-fishing water. Download it before you go: DCNR warns that cell service is unpredictable in state parks. DCNR also offers a recreational guide PDF and an interactive online map.
Maps at a Glance
Getting the Map
- Go to DCNR's Ridley Creek State Park page and open Maps and Guides.
- Download the Ridley Creek State Park Map (PDF). The current printed edition is dated September 29, 2023.
- Optional: download the Recreational Guide (PDF, or a text version for screen readers).

DCNR's interactive GIS map works in a browser and adds driving directions and searchable amenities, but it needs a signal.
Reading the Trail Map
- Hiking trails are drawn by their blaze color: White, Yellow, Blue and Orange.
- The paved multi-use trail (hiking and bicycling) follows Sycamore Mills Road and Forge Road, with mile markers from 0.0 to 4.0.
- The Bridle Trails (multi-use: hiking and equestrian) are in the north of the park, with the horse stable trail.
- Shading marks the archery deer hunting areas and the catch-and-release fly-fishing stretch of Ridley Creek.
- Blue symbols mean ADA-accessible facilities.
- Contour lines are every 100 feet.

Map Lengths vs. DCNR's Website
The 2023 printed map lists some trails at different lengths from DCNR's current hiking page: for example the White Trail at 4.1 miles on the map and 4.3 online, and the Blue Trail at 2.3 on the map and 3.7 online. This site uses the current hiking page (All trails with mileage).
